2. Gross Motor Skills: The ability to perform daily tasks with the help of the body’s large (core stabilizing) muscles requires whole-body movement. For example, sitting, crawling, running, jumping, throwing a ball, and climbing stairs.
Physical Development in School
a) Offering a variety of sports to children like skating, cricket, basketball, football, gymnastics, etc.
b) Conduct drawing, dance, yoga, or aerobics workshops.
c) Engage in gross motor activities, or big movements, and explore ways to climb, jump, swing, and run.
d) Making children practice small movements, or fine motor skills, by doing things like holding a crayon, molding playdough, digging in the sand, or building with blocks.
